Visiting: Mile End tube, turn right and walk down Southern Grove. There's always something going on at Tower Hamlets. Met a nice lady who asked me if I was lost; I said no, I was just wandering; she said "oh good". An old gentleman told me I should have been here 30 years earlier to see more good stuff. This is the kind of cemetery I like.
My flat overlooks the Tower Hamlets Cemetery. Imagine my surprise when, on a wander through one day, I came upon a gravestone with my name. You've even got a picture of it here - #19. Now, when I have visitors and we go for a walk, I take them to see it!
I would love to go to nun head cemetery ,but it looks very lonely .please could you email if it safe to go their alone.i have not been their since I was a little girl know live in Kent thank you.
